Events and Programs

The staff of the Missouri Soybean Association and Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council work on a number of events throughout the year, both as hosts and in partnership with our fellow ag organizations and other groups.   • Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue Town Hall

    Start: 28th Apr 2017

    Friday, April 28, newly confirmed Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be at the American Royal in Kansas City for a town hall from 9:15-10:30 a.m. This is Secretary Perdue's first trip outside D.C. since his confirmation and a prime opportunity to hear directly from him. All MSA members are encouraged to join in this event.   • Delta Gilts Open House

    Start: 25th May 2017

    Scott County Missouri is set to see the opening of Missouri's newest swine facility - Delta Gilts. The grand opening event is an opportunity for people to enjoy a personal tour of the facility. Check out the event flyer by clicking here.

  • Missouri Soybean Association Golf Tournament

    Start: 12th Jul 2017

    Saved the date for the Missouri Soybean Association's annual golf tournament, to be held at Shirkey Golf Course in Richmond.

  • Bay Farm Research Facility Field Day

    Start: 14th Jul 2017

    Save the Date!  Friday, July 14 is set for the Soybean Field Day at the Bay Farm Research Facility.  Plans are currently being finalized and the featured speaker will be Randy Dowdy, corn and soybean farmer from Georgia.  Randy set the world record for soybean yield at 171.7 bu/a. and will share his insights into high yield soybean management.
