Preparing a Farm Family Succession Plan

August 2, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

A farm succession plan outlines each family member’s roles and responsibilities in the farm business. Distinguishing family roles from business roles will help you to keep operations running smoothly and minimize conflict.

Attend a free upcoming “Preparing for Farm Succession Planning” interactive workshop to gain the skills and confidence you need to start or overhaul succession planning for your family’s farm.

There will be seven in-person workshops across the state including the workshop on August 2, at the Cape Girardeau County Extension office in Jackson, Missouri.

There will also be an on-line workshop by Zoom on August 10 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

These workshops are offered at no cost through sponsorships by the Missouri Department of Agriculture and local partners.

Register in advance to guarantee your seat and refreshments. Registration will remain open until all seats are reserved.

To register and for more details go to:  http://muext.us/ABPevents.

You can also register for the workshop in Jackson by calling the Scott County Extension office at 573-545-3516 or call, text, or email David Reinbott at 573-837-2358 or reinbottd@missouri.edu
