Soil Health and Conservation Field Day – September 12

A Soil Health and Conservation Field Day is being planned for September 12 at the Bay Farm Research Facility, jointly sponsored by Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council and Missouri Corn. The day will highlight efforts including:

  • Cover crop management
  • Soil erosion control
  • Water quality monitoring
  • Panel of Conservation leaders
  • Highlight research efforts throughout Missouri

Missouri is a leader in conservation and this event will demonstrate the many projects, programs and practices going on in Missouri to protect our precious soil resources. Growers, industry partners and other attendees will learn more about what Missouri farmers, Missouri Corn and Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council, State and Federal Agencies, the University of Missouri, and their partners are doing to conserve and enhance soil health.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the program starting at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided. The program is expected to wrap up about 1:30 p.m.

This event was originally scheduled for August 20 and has been rescheduled for the September date.
