Show Me Soy School Field Day – July 31, 2018

Join your Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council at the Bay Farm Research Facility July 31 for a hands-on look at the latest soybean research during –the annual Show Me Soy School.

The field day will include updates on high oleic soybean breeding, new soybean uses, MU Certified Strip Trials and other checkoff programs, as well as Missouri’s Dicamba and 2,4-D status with a great lineup of speakers, including:

–Dr. Kaitlyn Bissonnette
–Kent Shannon
–Dr. John Lory
–Dr. Bryon Wiegand

CAFNR Dean Dr. Christopher Daubert and USB director Meagan Kaiser of Bowling Green, Mo. are also expected to speak.

New for 2018, a demonstration area featuring biodiesel, SCN testing, phenotyping equipment, Dicamba testing and monitoring equipment, the NRCS Rainfall Simulator, and assistance with the Herbicide Injury App will be available.

Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., with a welcome and introductions at 8:50 before heading out for tours and workshop sessions.
