Scoular Selects SOYLEIC® Soybeans

International agricultural supply chain solutions company, Scoular, adds SOYLEIC® soybeans to their portfolio

(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) – To expand its portfolio and provide for end-users, international agribusiness, Scoular, adds SOYLEIC® soybeans to its diverse supply chain solutions.

“Scoular’s proven history with identity-preserved crops aligns with the demand and market for SOYLEIC® soybeans, domestically and internationally through exports,” said Bryan Stobaugh, Missouri Soybeans director of licensing and commercialization.

SOYLEIC® soybeans are a true non-GMO high oleic soybean trait, developed through a decade of research in partnership with the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC), University of Missouri, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the United Soybean Board (USB).

As Scoular grows to feed more consumers and livestock with non-GM, identity-preserved ingredients, SOYLIEC® soybeans made for an undisputed choice.

“Scoular has a proven track record of supplying goods and services that meet the rigorous demands of the agricultural supply chain which relies on processed grain and ingredients,” said Stobaugh. “We are excited about their work and contribution to the SOYLEIC® soybean acres in the U.S.”

With the diversity of SOYLEIC® soybeans, Scoular can provide product versatility and offer freedom of choice to the end-user.

“Bringing advanced food grade genetics to the marketplace is a priority for Scoular,” said Doug Grennan, vice president for select global grain and oilseeds at Scoular. “We are pleased to work with Missouri Soybeans to introduce SOYLEIC® varieties to the ever-increasing applications it adds to our evolving SoyFood customers globally.”

A 130-year-old company with $6 billion in sales, Scoular creates safe and reliable supply chain solutions for end-users and suppliers of grain, feed ingredients, and food ingredients. From its more than 100 offices and facilities in North America and Asia, Scoular’s 1,000-plus employees lead the way by buying, selling, storing, handling and processing grain and ingredients as well as managing transportation and logistics for customers around the world. Scoular’s global headquarters are in Omaha, Nebraska.
