INGREDIENTS
For the Burgers:
- 2-pounds of ground beef
- 4 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
- 2 tablespoons of onion powder
- 2 tablespoons of garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
For the Toppings:
- 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce
- 8 slices of Havarti cheese
- 8 toasted burger buns
DIRECTIONS
For the Burgers:
- Mix ground beef, 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, onion powder and garlic powder.
- With the ground beef mixture make 8 four-ounce patties.
- Season patties with salt and pepper.
- Sear the patties on the griddle and cook for 3-4 per side.
- On the first flip baste burger patties with the rest of the teriyaki sauce.
- Flip one more time for 30-seconds to 1-minute until teriyaki sauce is caramelized on the burger.
- Remove burgers from the pan and top with cheese.
For the Toppings:
- Toast or grill the burger buns.
- Top buns with burgers and toppings of your choice.
