Abby Shaffer

Abby Shaffer serves as the communications coordinator – research and innovation for Missouri Soybeans, helping bring the organization’s research and innovation efforts to life through clear, engaging storytelling.

A native of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Abby earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural education with an emphasis in communications and leadership from the University of Missouri and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in agricultural education, leadership and communication. After first joining Missouri Soybeans as a policy intern, she now works alongside the communications, research and agronomy teams to share the impact of farmer-funded research, emerging technologies and innovation across the soybean industry.

Outside of work, Abby enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outdoors with family and her dog Stacy and traveling.
