About Baylee

Baylee Asbury is the Director of Education and Outreach for Missouri Soybeans. In her position, she leads Missouri Soybeans’ membership and grower services efforts and serves as a liaison between the staff and the state’s producers. Baylee also drives promotional and educational efforts at the Center for Soy Innovation.

To Baylee, the best part of her job is when she sees people have that “ah-ha” moment during a tour, conversation or visit. The work she does is vital to increasing grower engagement across both organizations and creating a mutually beneficial relationship among farmers, consumers and staffers at Missouri Soybeans.

Baylee is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in agricultural economics and Northwest Missouri State University with a Master of Business Administration.  She was raised on a multi-generational crop and livestock operation; her family currently runs a commercial cow-calf operation and raises Foundation Simmental. She lives in California, Missouri, with her husband, Nicholas, and their daughter, Clara, along with their dog, Tucker.

Outside the office, Baylee enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, learning and cooking.
