
About Baylee
Baylee Asbury is the Director of Operations and Engagement for Missouri Soybeans. In this role, she leads the organization’s onboarding and internal professional development efforts, manages the Grassroots Fellowship leadership program, and ensures board engagement across all organizational levels. Baylee also oversees organizational systems and project management aligned with the strategic plan. She coordinates Missouri Soybeans’ internal events and external engagement efforts, fostering connections between staff, farmers, and industry stakeholders.
Baylee’s favorite part of the job is seeing those “ah-ha” moments during a Center for Soy Innovation tour, conversation, or visit. Her work supports greater grower and stakeholder engagement and builds mutually beneficial relationships throughout Missouri Soybeans’ programs and initiatives.
Baylee is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia with a degree in agricultural economics and Northwest Missouri State University with a Master of Business Administration. Raised on a multi-generational crop and livestock farm, her family currently runs a commercial cow-calf operation and raises Foundation Simmental cattle. She lives in California, Missouri, with her husband, Nicholas, and their daughter, Clara, along with their dog, Tucker.
Outside the office, Baylee enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, learning, and cooking.
