About Casey

Casey Heiman serves as a director for the Missouri Soybean Association, representing soybean farmers from western Missouri. He farms near Butler, Missouri, with an operation spanning southern Bates County and northern Vernon County, where he raises corn, soybeans and cattle. Heiman is a fourth-generation member of a family deeply rooted in agriculture. His great-grandfather founded the first grain elevator in southern Bates County in the town of Rockville, Missouri, and the family has been involved in the grain, custom application and livestock businesses in the region for nearly 100 years.

Heiman became interested in serving on the Missouri Soybean Association board after participating in the organization’s grassroots leadership program and connecting with farmers across the state. He hopes to bring new perspectives on expanding markets and exploring additional domestic uses for soybeans while supporting policies that strengthen Missouri agriculture. Heiman graduated from the University of Missouri in 2015 and currently serves as general manager for a John Deere dealership overseeing 20 locations while continuing to farm. He and his wife live near Butler with their two sons, Hank and Duke.
