About Eric Oseland,

Eric Oseland is the Director of Agronomy and Research for Missouri Soybeans. He oversees research projects funded by the checkoff and serves as a liaison between the farmers and the researchers across the state of Missouri. 

Eric is passionate about helping farmers overcome challenges through research and being a resource for new and innovative agronomic information for soybean producers. In his position he helps farmers get the most out of their checkoff investment by ensuring these dollars are funding research impactful to Missouri soybean producers.  

Eric has his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and his master’s and Ph.D. in weed science from the University of Missouri – Columbia. He and his wife, Rochelle, live in Hermann, Missouri.
