Kyle Durham serves as the previous Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council chair and representative from District 2. Kyle serves farmers by bringing issues he hears about from farmers forward so the checkoff can assist in an impactful way. He and his fellow board members ensure checkoff funds are spent prudently and deliver tangible results throughout the state. Kyle especially enjoys interacting with international buyers of Missouri soybeans and using those opportunities to understand Missouri’s role in the global vegetable oil market. He is a sixth-generation farmer from Norborne, Missouri, where he manages 2,400 acres of soybeans and corn with his father. He and his wife, Courtney, have two sons.
