Trent Haggard serves on the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council board from District 7. With his time on the board, he hopes to listen to and represent the people in his area well. With his background on the farm, prior experience, and time in agricultural research, Trent believes he can benefit the farmers in his region and Missouri.
Trent is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in agriculture. He grew up on his family’s farm and played a crucial role in their operation. Once he graduated from the University, Trent began working for Case IH. After 19 years in the corporate world, he was the Fisher Delta Research Center director. Now Trent has come full circle, back to his family’s farm, where he farms full-time with his father, David Haggard.
In his free time, Trent enjoys spending time with his wife, Tami, and his three children, Graham, Stella, and Hudson. He stays busy running from baseball tournaments, soccer matches, swim meets and cheer competitions with his kids.
